I have known Derrick for years. He has inspired me personally through his dedication of getting to the root of his relationship with Jesus. At times when I have personally struggled, he has poured more insight and wisdom into me than anyone else. Derrick is a master at overcoming challenges and connecting people interpersonally. I have known Derrick for over 10 years.  He has always been a man of character and faith and this book shares how he overcame the ultimate test of faith facing DEATH. Derrick walked into my life five years ago through a mutual friend. You can measure a man and his faith by the evidence that shows up in their life, fruits of the spirit to be precise. I’ve never seen more spiritual activity in a single life! 

He has courageously walked through a near fatal heart attack, the recovery process, and still made time to help me through my own crises of faith. He has been such a blessing to me and my family and I don’t have words for it, but I can tell you the first person I call to help me stop and think things through is Derrick. This book, initially written for his son, is full of wisdom and I’m now using it for me and my children. Derrick has a unique way of looking at things and it always comes back to Jesus, which is exactly where I want to be as I raise my children and walk through life.

I was blessed to have met Derrick Serianni at an event around the time that he was finishing this book. At the time we met, I could tell we were kindred spirits.
